hello,

i tried to gather some information regarding characteristics featured by different version of Daytona during the years.

Dials are a huge mess, there are many variations.
Also, please consider that a model produced in a year, could be sold 1-3 years later. Warranty cards were often labeled some years later by AD.

Hope this could help modding and frankening projects.
For example: old dials with long indexes at 27 and 33 minutes are not OK on a 116500 case and even cancelling rehaut woulr result in a wrong watch without short clasp.
Same goes for slim hands.

Let me know if this is helpful and if you have any input on something I could have got wrong.

Thanks for this, really good information for those seeking for franken accuracy.

Also goes to show how even Rolex themselves aren't consistent in their releases.

Got some sources telling me that the Bezel Mk. VI slim font was used as late as for the D-serial, in 2005. To be verified and confirmed !

Thanks! Appreciate the feedback.
coevity of reps seems a huge deal, especially on luminova dials
