Apparently, RXF which is actually VSF are also releasing the good old Rolex Sub this Month. Judging by how well made their Omega line is, I’m excited to see how their sub will stack up against the rest. With ZF also releasing theirs, seems like the competition is getting really hot after the factories seen how a good sub can earn money really quickly (ZZF, I heard rumours the boss is a baller now).

hopefully the factories have learned that its better to release a watch with as few flaws as possible instead of releasing v1,000,000.

they maybe have learnt that people want the best OOTB as possible, and since those watches cost a lot of money (600+$), people will likely spend the money only on the best of the best. They also learnt that if you resolve the “tells”, you can sell like crazy (see what zzf did).

It's mind boggling how these factories haven't been able to perfect the submariner and they never will.

I can already see 2 issues in the 2 photos shared.

Lol, the text at the bottom of the photos is funny. Let's see what they end up with.

U.K.
The watch head looks quite promising but the sel fit ruins the rest of the watch and I very much doubt real platinum is used for the sputter coating at these price points.

Thats me in the corner..
You would think that a line of near perfect reps would be a huge boon for any company looking to make bank.. surely the guys at the top can bank roll some gens and measure the crap out of every detail.

Sure it would take a lot of money but the ROI would be so worth it. Seems to me that the current reps are 85 to 95 percent accurate at least on the dial.

Get the dials right, and you will sell like hot cakes, get the dial, the case, links and bracelet, and you`ll make back 100 fold what you spent in R&D within say 3 to 6 months.

Wouldn't it be crazy to think that a replica would be better manufactured than a gen and cost a 10th the price.

Ya but then you would have no reason to buy another "updated rep" just like iphones they hold back just enough to keep you wanting the "next big thing" it's smart business in their part to make reps with a few little flaws and fixing them periodically.

Well, some of the models like ZZF subs are already selling like hot cakes without being 100% gen. as long as people buy it, the factories wont bother to close the gap because of cost and need for speed. What pushes the factories to improve their reps is when there is competition and that is what we hope RXF will achieve...

like what some some people have said, RXF looks very promising but we still need to see the actual mass produced product which QC is always their Achilles heel... LOL

Noob has been running a great business model with their forever updated versions for years. I don’t believe making a perfect rep would be profitable in the long run.

Fix this break that over and over seems more profitable. I don’t think they will be able or willing to make a perfect rep in the foreseeable future.

That being said they’ve come a long way and very few people will be able to spot a good rep without macro photos next to gen photos let alone at arms length.

Was about to pull the trigger on a ZZF but this competition has my head spinning. Can't wait to try the RXF.
