No, VRF and V9F are different factories.

GMF, VRF and V9F are all now using the same VR3185 movement so you'll have to look more closely at things like dial, hands, crystal, case, bracelet, clasp etc to choose one. And especially the insert. We have yet to see the V9F Pepsi insert in a real pic.

Yeah, just saw it too. But the color put me off, font looks ok though.

For my Pepsi build, I got a Noob and a VRF 126710 (Batgirl) for the dial and movement. I will have watchmaker check if the VRF bezel can take the Noob insert (and if it goes on the Noob case). Will let you know later when project is completed.

Just some news on inserts - Spoke with Spongebob 2 days back, he is working on a custom Batman insert (no speed bumps with proper transition). Pepsi will be next.

Correct, the colors are from the 116719 and also from the five digit aluminium bezel.

Lets see what ARF does

diamant thanks for posting those man. The insert looks very rough. Transition point glue line and colors are not even up to GMF level. But the transition is in the correct place at 18, and the engraving looks right. Everything else looks impressive to me.

That looks nice. I mean the colors are off a little but I mean it's not terrible by any means. The transition points aren't bad.

There are two things worth looking out for.

1. Consistency. It will be interesting to see if the inserts are consistent or if we see variation from watch to watch the way we've see in other brands. (GMF I'm talking about you)

2. Sunlight /daylight. As we've seen with many models, the way the watch looks/seems in real world conditions is different than it is under the lens of a QC photo.

Pics on Intime really show the white transition glue lines. Looks like the rough rehaut top ledge issue is fixed though.

2 movement options listed on Trusty ... 3186 and 3285.

They both have the VR3185. The only difference is the fake engraving to coincide with the model version. Oyster 116710 is 3186, Jubilee 126710 version is 3285.
