3186 Jumping hour Click

Searching for the part but found there are three versions: 657, 657-1 and 657-2. Are all three compatible for the 3186 replacement? Each shape of the click looks pretty different though. Any ideas?

Since the arrival of the gen 3186, Rolex has changed the click spring. 657 is the original part and 657-2 is the 3rd gen click spring. They all will fit 3186, provided you have the right other parts.

If you are going to upgrade the ARF 3186, you need the following parts together to make it really reliable:

3186-260
3186-657-1
3186-665

Thanks for the info. So 657, 657-1 and 657-2 are not interchangeable without changing the other parts go with it then.

These are what you need, had mine upgraded, 3186-260-1, 3186-657-1 current version and 3186-655.

Just make sure your rep movement is the SH3186 from ARF if buying the three parts listed above.

The VR3185 from VR (and also in many other rep GMTs like VRF, ROF, V9F, Noob BLNR and LN) use a different jump click gen part, the 3185-660. You can get away with replacing just this part in the VR3185 if you even choose the upgrade. The VR3185 is the preferred movement, and can work well without any upgrades.
