Let's hope they will propose a VR3135 version, and not only that weird A28XX with deco plates

The LV is only available with the VR3135 Movement

The one linked above isn’t.
I assume it’s an a2824 decorated ne cause stem height seems ok, and case have the groove for 3135 screws.

Put a ZZV v2 LV next to the real one in sunlight and a guarantee the insert will rapidly become your biggest concern. Its still nothing like the real one.

If they improved it then its a good thing.

Never said it wasn't a good thing lol... I'll take any improvement, tbh as long as it is an improvement... The problem with the original was the bezel was too "pastelly" and light and I'm hoping they made the green more vibrant like a candy apple green, but judging from the pics above, it doesn't seem like it. Also, lets be honest, the hands are the biggest problem currently. Just look at the hour hand tips on the comparison pics above. Next would be the "x" and dial not being able to get dark enough, but these all minor problems compared to the hour hand problem. Also, of course you're gonna spot differences if you take a rep and a gen side by side. I doubt anybody would be able to tell that the shade of green is very slightly different without a gen side by side as a reference.... The hour hand, however, is completely off shape wise and on lume placement and shape.

Problem is the insert is dramatically different. A photo cant show it as the green is way out of srgb, but the difference is pretty huge in real life.

I agree, but it's just annoying that there's a new product with minor upgrades every couple of months (presumably) rather than one upgrade a year or so with more improvements. I know a business is a business and the goal is to make as much money as possible, but that could be done in other ways since it makes OCD people such as myself constantly want to upgrade whenever they release lol, but I guess that's the point of it all

They don’t listen to a couple people from a random watch forum. Their customer base in China is 10 fold, maybe even more of this little collective here. They are in to make money, as previous member said improvements come when it benefits them.

I’d imagine there are significant costs when changing a design in a small way and having it reproduced, moreover the places they have these parts made will require x amount of the parts ordered and produced meaning they need to be used / sold before they go back for more m.

Having owned a gen insert the biggest difference apart from colour was this subtle metallic look to the gen insert. Colour aside ZZF non the less is doing great job.

Oh really? How do you know though? Not being an ass, I'm genuinely curious lol cause I'll most likely be purchasing this

From side by side pictures I have seen, it was pretty close. To say it’s faaaaar from the gen color is a little too much.. But my friend has the gen and i will receive either the v2s of the previous version, let’s see how that looks. More curious to see both zzf models side by side

I'm just going to leave this here and move on. I don't want to stop people enjoying their watches.

You can only see the difference in real life, and the difference is big imo.

Like a guy above said, the gen looks quite metallic in sunlight - its not a flat green like the rep has. (I’ve been told the gen bezel has gold in it - I don’t know, but it can definitely look metallic)

Cameras cannot capture bright reds, blues and especially greens.

This graphic representing visible vs sRGB shows why a photograph of a rep next to a gen means jack shit.

In a photograph, all that green outside the triangle will be 'crushed' to fit inside it.

So in a photograph, a green in the extreme of the curve in the top left, will look the exactly the same as a green in the top left corner of the triangle.

Thats why you can't see a difference in the photograph.

If the v2s has a better bezel insert I’ll be thrilled for everyone. But every rep I’ve seen to date is not good. Lets hope they have cracked it.

^^ Green is a very hard color to photograph accurately. None of the rep inserts come close to the real color of the Rolex insert - it's not candy apple green, the Rolex insert is jade green, and it's the first thing you'll notice when you have a genuine Hulk in your hand - long before you notice differences in hand dimensions/proportions.

I'm pleased to see the photos posted!!! Is jtimewatch going to be posting a full pictorial? I am curious to see side by side with gen in 3 different lighting conditions:

1. artificial light (done already)
2. Natural light shadows
3. Natural light direct sun

This will help show us the 'personality' of the insert.
