Ok so today doing admin duties I realized I have way to many parts. So I got board after catching up on some watches and built a concept watch. Tell me what you think.

First I used a ARF 116610 3135 case. I used a ARF 116610 bezel assembly because it is the closest thing to rolex spec. VRF is to small and doesn't use the spacer between the bezel and insert. But to me has the best Hulk insert. It is off a little on the Green but engraving is nice. So I popped out the VRF Hulk insert and put it in the ARF bezel. I pressed a ARF crystal, used the VRF hands and dial. Put in a brand new VR 3135 and used the VR 3135 date wheel. It actually looks good. Here is the kicker. I gave away all my other bracelets so I had to use the VRF bracelet which the end links are really loose. So I put in bigger spring bars and it did OK.

Here is some pics.

Oh hell yeah bro, a ceramic kermit!

I love a good concept watch and am constantly thinking about different combos. It's especially cool when you can put one together from spare parts.

I did the mirror image of yours once in an SD43 case. Always looking for new designs, yours is an instant winner!

I love the floating minute markers on the dial with the matching symmetrical minute markers on the bezel all the way around. It looks like that was all done intentionally to match details consistently.

A few years back there was an Australian/Korean member I think Deokhoon was his name, that had an LN franken gen dial etc, he put a gen hulk bezel on it and it was an instant hit with smoke and many other members.

It’s a really good good look, especially nice since it’s scraps from your parts bin. Wear it well

That’s why you should always wash a watch before putting it on. As I’m sure you know, the watches out of the factories are no different. I hear people say “you don’t need to wash new sheets or jeans. They haven’t even been worn yet”. The last time I saw a factory in another country, it was manned by a bunch of factory workers (most of whom shower once a week if you’re lucky) and assembled with parts/materials that have been sitting in a grosss dusty warehouse for months.

Wash that shit.

Looks good! I’m not a fan of 6 digit subs but the hulk is on my list to buy. I’m waiting for a gen but the wait list seems to just get longer and longer.

A trick I figured out on end links, if you still see a space with thick spring bars, wrap some clear plastic tape around the spring bar until it barely fits in there. That seems to work on most SELs.

Good work!

I think it looks perfect too. As
much as I love the Hulk, I’m not a fan of burst dials. But a 6 digit ceramic Kermit is money ;)

Passively looking for a no date to swap my gen green on to it. There’s a great franken on rep geek. But I’m just not ready to drop the coin

I love the ceramic hulk
