Does a decorated 3187 = A2836 made to look like a 3187?

Hi guys,




As the title says does a decorated asia 3187 movement mean the same as an A2836 made to look like a 3187 movement internally? Will this have any effect on the longetivity of the watch? Thanks! (For context im looking at a BP Explorer 2 that has a decorated asia 3187 movement)

Yes. There are no 3185/6/7 clones. It's a deco plate having no impact on the watch, unless one of the junk pieces (screw, jewel, etc) falls off the deco plate into your movement. It's happened to me, hence I remove the useless deco plates.
