Yes it's possible, but bloody difficult.

The wrong stem height is an issue. There are ways to get around it, but it's complicated and tough to do. All sorts of stuff like movement holder, lowering this, raising that, changing here and there, stuff that is way beyond me when the experts here tried explaining.. Or fill up and redrill the crown tube hole.

As always.. in this hobby all is possible...but I agree with you...it is a bit tough to perform this kind of "marriage".. that being said...If you like and want the BLRO..you have to make a decision..

I think the BP dial that could be used on here isn’t too bad. The GMF is good too, but needs a relume for sure.

If you can find a gen BLRO insert.

I don't think I will ever find a gen BLRO insert, but in the meantime, the gen bezel and insert on my GMF is gonna sit there until a nice BLRO insert standalone is released!

I really love that combo actually, way more than I thought!

Thanks! It's a stock GMF BLRO and gen bezel/insert. Actually I think it's about the same money as the noob all together!

Yes I read that too, but I think it's fair to say the GMF has a lot going for it too, nice case shape, nice dial, bracelet and end link are not bad, and the hands are nice, and now I can say it's bezel construction is gen like, plus it has a workhorse 2836 inside...

But I agree, the noob is very nice! Indeed, if I hadn't bought some month earlier the GMF I would have bought the noob!
But as I already have the GMF, and I cannot stand the insert, I had to do something about that watch lol!

The GMF insert is only "OK" from afar, but a rep is only good for me if it's looking good up close!

Was going to go with gmf..and buy noob insert to swap but couldn’t....so I bought the noob instead because the insert of the gmf would bother me too much
