NOOB Pepsi GMT 126710 BLRO mini review

I’ve been holding out forever for the ARF release with clone movement and was close to the GMF, then Noob finally drops the Pepsi. Yes I know it’s overpriced, but I just had to have one.

The color? I think it’s close to the latest MK II bezel colors which are toned down a bit. I think Noob used MK II gen. I much prefer the WG and early MK 1 brighter colors. I can tell you the the blue and red transition a lot from indoor lighting to sunlight. The blue goes from Navy to a Royal Blue; the red from a burgundy to bright red. In the sun the blue and red come alive. The bezel fill is not white and has good contrast indoors. For me it’s the best Pepsi bezel yet.

I’ve had 5 Noob’s CHS Batman (and 42 EXP) and movement worked well for me, even daily wear (I always set the hour hand forward to set the date, not backwards). I hope to have the same luck here.

First thing to go is the 80s Jubilee bracelet. Yes it’s beautiful, but it makes this watch look busy IMO. For me the Pepsi bezel is the star on this model and the Oyster bracelet is perfect. Especially brushed. I borrowed my Sub bracelet...for now.

Anyway, some pics of course ????

Wow, we lost all those posts from yesterday? Just remember I want that jubilee bro! Haha, seriously though I would definitely buy one of these if it only cost an arm and not an arm and a leg!

        Your pics are awesome!

Wow. I have the GM version and I hate the bezel insert. In pictures it looks great, in fact even when I take pictures of it it looks great. But in real life, the red is pinkish and the blue doesnt pop like in photos. Is this the 'latest' version for $668?

This mini-big review is very useful for us..and for me that I am waiting QC... so it seem that bezel colors are very close to gen..as I supposed to.....very good.. and for the movement...yes it is a little tricky and risky.. but if you follow these simple rules to adjust the time... and a bit of luck... no problems at all. I know that Rolex charges 300$ only for this little gear that allows the hour hand to move back and forth independently...

                    Thanks for the photos!

Looks like the bezel color looks pretty decent under strong light, but indoors / under weaker lights it shows the muddy red brown color. I would still get it in a heartbeat, but if not for that ridiculous price..

Noob is a winner in my book. Case looks decent, SELs on bracelet looks gen,, insert is best I’ve seen so far, price though..shocking

How is it possible that this movement is so unreliable given that VSF has a completely reliable movement, with the exact same function, that they use in both Omega and PAM reps?

Can you post a link or pic of one of these models you are referring to? What is the hand stack on them, which hand is on the bottom GMT or hour hand? If the GMT hand is on the bottom, it would not be CHS for the Rolex GMT.
