I am still pretty happy with my $40 eBay insert.

I wonder are those cheap ebay inserts made of ceramic at all or some other material? Did you check that maybe? Thanks

I guess it is ceramic - looks and feels like it.

perhaps it is a little bit thinner than the usual rep insert - at first it sat a bit low in the bezel and i had to lift it up a bit by using double sided tape. Thats why i think they might be a little thinner.

But that being said - i am really happy i found this one.

As mentioned by some other folks before, right now, VR3135 hulk inserts are the best out of the box. You can pretty much skip the platinum paint too and save on it.

VRF doesn't sell them separately but I'm getting a gen full insert and bezel assembly, I will be listing the VRF (3135) insert and bezel assembly

Another 3 weeks in the waiting.
