¡Hola! I am thinking on changing the hands set of my Ginault (blue bezel, gold sand lume) from the milsub ones to regular mercedes hands. Or at least the seconds hand (I am not quite fond of the red seconds hand, to be fair).
The "problem" is that Ginault hands are actually really good! I would patiently wait and source proper TC hands, but I need them with yellow/vintage lume, so that's not an option.
I can't find many alternatives at that same quality level and I am rounding it down to a few options here:
Yuki: http://www.yukiwatch.com/catalog/item/6960394/7061069.htm
Alt. changing red seconds hand to the period correct arrow seconds: http://www.yukiwatch.com/catalog/item/6960394/10321796.htm
Ruby's: http://rafflestime.com/submariner-watch-hands-for-eta-2824-2836-merc-vintage/
WSO (eBay): https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-WA...46-2-SILVER-/160697183352?hash=item256a4c6c78
At a first sight, the ones from WSO are clearly the worst, and funny enough they are the most expensive (55 bucks for that?!?!).
I can't find a mercedes hands set with yellow/vintage lume at Raffles Dials, so it all goes down to Yuki or Ruby's, but the photos aren't the best ones ever. Anyone has used any of these sets or has experience sourcing high level hands sets other than these sites? Thanks so much!
