I experimented a way to install gen 5513 dials (and any other no-date gen dials that use 15xx movement; e.g., 1002, 5500, 5512) onto a clone movement without chopping the dial feet off.
- Milk 5513 case set
- Gen service dial
- Gen 704 crown
- TC submariner hour/minute hand + relumed 116610 seconds hand
- Replica service font insert + ghosted
- modified Vietnam movement ring
- Clarks T19
- VSF triplock-style tube with added gasket between the case and tube
- Significantly modified Asian lowbeat 2824 with eta 2840 setting lever

All is stock cartel except the crystal.

Oh yes. The watch itself has a unique balance of weight and proportions...and having modded it myself, enhances the feeling. I messed up the stem and I am waiting for the part...but I was basically wearing just that watch for some time
what treatmeant did that bezel insert get? it seems to have a golden shine on the markers?5512 but worth sharing
That is a two tone bezel insert. It came in that form from cousins.
am I mistaken or the way you put the strap does not go under the case?
I further aged the dial surface to look sun faded. Also put it on a black MN strap.
