Guys I am trying to decide whether to roll with this one or take my chances on asking for a new different one. It is really just 2 things, as typical of this model in rep the markers are a little off on the 4,5 and 7 (the worst of the 3). Also I notice that that expansion indicator (the metal pin that I have circled in red on the clasp) looks to be a bit deformed on the tip. Is it worth asking for a different watch, I am torn?

RWIFreak, unfortunately if you don’t have anything people can rip on you about I have found ppl just aren’t interested. Good luck with the purchase.

looks like good watch to me. if it bothers you then request another watch or a refund. it seems like you need someone to help convince you that you're not happy with the quality. Anyways i think people are just tired of answering those QC thread questions. at the end of the day... it's a replica watch and there's always flaws. it's up to you which flaws you can live with and which flaws you can't.

i would buy the watch if that opinion matters haha.

I think you're being too fussy, but everyone has different tolerances for this kind of stuff.

I really appreciate the valuable insight, there is a learning curve here for me for sure. Maybe I am just being to picky, and the couple of valuable responses in this thread from jrodshibuya and ownnij are helpful because they are opinions. One other thing, I am sure that veterans and mods on this forum get sick and tired of seeing the same old Noobie bullshit as I know I would. However some of it just comes with the territory no? Now I know to never post QC pics unless there is something egregiously wrong with a rep....and I am cool with that. Personally, and maybe because I am fairly new I really enjoy seeing QC pics. It gives me optics into what level of product the factories and TDs are offering to us across the world and what is a acceptable threshold for quality issues. I also see quality issues in 2 categories...things that prevent a rep from being a 1:1 because of inconsistencies with the rep and a gen....conversely, issues with indicies not being lined up within the markings on dials etc might be a different thing. Keeping in mind where these watches are made and they will never be perfect...not even the holy grail of super reps. Thank you guys for the response, that is all I really wanted was...some kind of response. Cheers and cold beers!!!

chocolito that is correct, and notice I didn't do that. I had 2 specific issues with the watch and asked for guidance, I am new to this and am not 100% certain what the threshold is for acceptable flaws. I know based on reasonable logic that it won't be perfect, hell I have had brand new genuine Rolex and Omegas that were not perfect. However, I am trying to learn what is and isn't really acceptable in the higher end rep world. Thanks for your input and the question.

Since there is a ton of rules I wonder if there is one where at least 80% of all comments must be dbag or just plain pissed of at life related??

when i found this forum.. i thought it was the coolest shit ever because i liked buying replica watches but there wasn't that much info about them online. It's actually a nice informative place when people try.

i wish we had a sticky that has a list of which versions are the best out for each model.. right now there are soo many damn factories it's hard to keep up with and i don't have that eye to spot out bad designs lol

Well then chap you should ask yourself what is a 'flaw' and what is a QC issue . A flaw is a known tell on a watch ( if you look really hard ) , for example the shape of the 3 marker on the JF Explorer 1 v2 . All the watches have this flaw. A QC issue is things like wonky markers ( you state this is typical on this watch , however not all have it ) and deformed clasp pins . These are mistakes made if production of the watch , then you can decide yourself whether to ask for a different watch .

Chap you may think it is really really cool! However you haven't tried looking too hard on the site . There is a Consensual Super rep list with exactly what you are looking for .

Well ultimately you are asking other people to make up your mind for you on well-known variances on a replica watch. Only you know what you will be happy with, so no one can really advise you here. IMO.....
