After reading countless of posts from these two amazing pros smoke occb2

I decided to order my first NOOB V9 from chazingtime. Just received my QC pictures.

With my untrained eyes I do noticed something is off between the dial and the insert (where the 6oclock meets the 30) but I cannot make out what exactly it is \(a slight bit off centered?\).

I also notice the cyclops is off as well and there is huge gap in the clasp. The datewheel is not centered vertically nor horizontally.

Can you please give me your inputs?

the watch is fine. v9 uses the SA3135 . I've never seen a sa3135 with a missaligned date. It's probably just the angle of the picture

Has anyone else had issues wityh their V9 with the paint/ink on the numbers in the bezel coming off ? I have about 30 low end replicas with little to no issues. Bit the bullet and bought a high end Hulk and have had no end of issues with it

What issues do you have with it? As far as the fading paint on the bezel, have you tried cleaning it?

Yes this is a common issue with many ceramic insert reps no matter the cost. You've been quite lucky to go through 30 reps and not experienced this yet. Out of 8 high end ceramic insert reps I have, only the 2 Daytonas have not had an insert marker paint mod. And one of them is showing signs of needing it too.

What movement does your Hulk have? The SA3135 can be prone to having more issues than tbe ETA 2836.

Have a look here

Vvvlllooo, the ink itself is coming off, not fading

KJ2020, i may be lucky in that regard. I've had no issues with the bezels on other reps. This particular watch is a V9 with the 3135 movement . Apart from the bezel issue, the date wheel is a bit out as the date wasn't sitting level. Plus the crown was sticking and not easy to pull out.

Sent it back to the dealer a week after i got it . Pick it up in a few days, hopefully all rectified. Mind you he charged me for the "repairs"

Being the first high end rep I've bought (along with a deep sea), i would've thought quality would be better.

Hi guys, please excuse the newbie but i could do your help.

There seems to be two trains of thought for the best replica daytona, Noob and VRF, if you had to call it who would be better?

Any chance some kind gent could post a link to their sites so I know I'm going to the right one?

Thanks for all your help.

Mate you really need to do a lot more reading. First of all you're posting in a submariner thread and are asking about Daytona. Secondly I've never heard of a VRF Daytona. Thirdly there is not a single watch that is better than the other. All have flaws and it's up to you to decide which one you can live with. Fourthly, it's not a question of website: the websites as you say are the dealers, not the manufacturers. A model is being built by a manufacturer such as ARF or Noob. Finally, there's a thread about ARF vs. Noob Daytona so you should take the time to read it.

I always think that ARF hands are look more "3D" which is kind of nice , hahaha

Yes, they are fricken nice...I like them best over noobs...but as I put them next to gen and keep going over the pictures....noob hands are closer to gen. It’s one of those things where it’s a preference, you really can’t go wrong either way.
