I accidentally bumped into a site showing this amazing gen 1970's -Tudor- -Oyster- -Prince- -Submariner- weird edition, I had never ever seen. They called it that, altho we all know normally that model looks like a normal vintage Sub. Actually it's a "U.S. Navy Prototype".

I am perfectly aware of the fact that I might be asking for the impossible, but who knows, nothing wrong in trying.
Anybody having any clue or info about a replica of that beauty, or any suggestions to start a project in that direction? (specially for the weird case and bezel, all the rest shouldnt be too difficult, I reckon)
For the caseback, I'd prefer a normal ss or a bubbleback to the crystal see-through. That way the mov requirements could be downgraded to a simple decent auto.
I'd be very grateful to anybody posting suggestions and/or productive links.

Thanks.

I don`t think you will find a Tudor Rep like this one.

I'm in search for a Hydronaut I, and it is very difficult to find.

But you can take a look at MK II watches, they have a similar case shape watch.

Or you can start a project with a Seiko 6309, and mod it to what you like.

And the mods.

It will be more likley a Doxa, or Soxa, but is a nice project.
