it is quite unique and very well balanced in proportions, but perfection I find is the 19019 day date in white gold is just perfect
damnn show us some pics!! whats the color of the dial?I wish they would rep one, as well. I made an homage a few years ago but it was an extremely labor intensive project and I doubt I'll ever get that bored again!
I do have a gen dial, just in case!![]()

I read that old thread and I am a fan of your AP / Tudor / Oysterquartz franken (https://rwg.cc/topic/185522-rolex-oysterquartz-rep-or-franken/)
Your quality and level of machining with a lathe is unbelievably accurate and soooo good. It looks so good that it mimics an in-house Tudor prototype

pomp - Thank you, it was a chore and I may do another one at some point in time but as I said doing this on all manual machines is extremely labor intensive. That said, I have a chunk of 316 cut out with a hole bored through it, a gen Roman Oysterquartz dial, and a Miyota quartz movement in the drawer...
I had a DJ dial in this for a while and decided that since I couldn't make a credible chapter ring I'd turn it into a fantasy Tudor. Rolex did make a DJ in this case for a short time according to literature I have.

I went right to eBay and BAM! Holy crap. That's pretty sweet.
