Hello all, I've been mostly an AP guy but after trying on a friend's Daytona I decided that it is THE watch to own, no matter what other watches one owns. So when a franken 16520 came up for sale, I pounced on it, mostly to try out the watch and wear it around and see if my affection for the brand deepens. And God help me, it looks like the addiction has begun. I know that this is an older generation build but I like the black subdial rings of the white zenith dial.
This build has:
- gen mkIV dial
- gen hands
- gen case and caseback
- gen 16520 bezel
- gen 25-295 crystal without etched crown
- gen P402 pushers
- gen 703 crown and gen crown tube
- gen 503B end links
- gen 78390 bracelet
- zenith el primero 3019 movement with gen Rolex 4030 rotor, plus all the necessary conversion parts and labour.
On to the pics, I will take more as I take it apart for servicing if anyone is interested.
Thank you for looking!
