007 James Moores Rolex 5513 Buzz saw Project

I got very interested in this Rolex 5513 watch Buzz saw. Hoping i could achieve the total outlook of this watch.



The bezel would be the most difficult to make . Its isn't the usual coinage style , cutting has to be done at an angle to make it look like a "saw".

The dial indices has a dark brown patina . Acrylic paints wouldnt work , my mere guess would be some colourings and iron powder to make the speckles on it.


Not much fading on this bezel , just some scratches and get the pearl removed.


How about this rotor ? Achievable ?


Specs will be based on a cartel V2 case set , with a good 2 liner dial, A2836 / eta movement.

5513 ordered from Sead and soon to be on way to you.

T-19 Crystals, Athaya 700 crown and tube, Riveted Bracelet, 580 end links, fat spring bars. I will mail out tomorrow!

Best Rolex build I've seen, always loved the Live and let die buzz saw watch!

Crazy how much the original went for considering that it wasn't a working watch and didn't even have a movement!
