Fantasy Modern Day GMT Pan Am

While putting some thought into taking on a build of one of my all time favorites, the GMT 6542 Pan Am white dial I thought of a pretty cool fantasy build. An explorer II-like white "Pan Am" dial would look awesome on the new white gold GMT II w/ the ceramic Pepsi bezel. I tried editing some images to see how it would look (I apologize for my sub-par editing skills, i've only got MS Paint to work with, :thumbup, what do you think?

It's a long shot considering how long the BLNR is taking, but if they do ever get around to making a rep of the ceramic pepsi dial I may give this fantasy build a shot!

I would rock one of those for sure. That red, white and blue combo is killer and not to mention......THE COLORS OF FREEDOM!!

Yep, that red white and blue = Niiiice, and the vintage looking lume makes it look even better. I would want one of those...great idea.

I'm in the middle of a 6542 project, great watch. But the ceramic pepsi bezel doesn't really do it for me. I'm sure it would grow on me if I had one. But if I picked up a ceramic GMTII and did a dial swap...I'd have the crown guards shaved off too. Then swap out the crown. That would be pretty cool.

I'll give it a shot if they end up repping it. Either that or I will grab a gen insert if it pops up! However that is pretty unlikely [emoji1]
