Hi guys,

So I finally pulled the trigger on a VSF 126610 LN, and I just got QC pictures.

The watch itself, to me, looks pretty good, but I'm wondering about this rehaut section, in the 20 min and 40 min mark.

I asked the TD for more pictures, and when I asked about the rehaut, they say that it's just the angle.

What do you guys think? It looks to me like it's missaligned but I'm not sure, as there is not a dead angle picture.

there is no way to align the rehaut as it is fixed to the case
what you can align is the dial to the rehaut by rotating the dial a little bit
however, in your case the engraving is fine around 9-12-3 position and slightly off around 3-6-9
no way to adjust this --> engraving is off

the engraving should align
- the crown with the 12 triangle
- the R with the hour marks 7-11
- the X with the hour marks 1-5

whether or not this is acceptable is up to your decision
on my VSF 126610 it is fine but I have other RLX models from other factories where it is a little off as well
quite frankly I don't care as you can't see that with the naked eye anyway so I would accept it
I would consider that to be within manufacturing tolerances

Bro you got a very good one. My VSF rehaut at the 7 and 8 markers look nearly identical at that angle too...but from a better direct angle the R's are nearly perfectly aligned. Plus the crown at 12 looks nearly perfect too (which is by far more important IMO and often not that great...even on gens). Bottom line, you have a damn good rehaut IMO.

So that pretty much settles it, right? The engraving is off.

I've had a hard time identifying it as in pictures it always looks off in some area if the watch is not perfectly perpendicular, but the side shot kind of gave it away I believe.

Really? I was skeptical about it since every picture of a 126610 vsf I've seen has a PERFECT rehaut. So I was not sure how to feel about that.

If you want to RL this, pass my details to the TD. I will take it.

Are the SEL's okay? The one showing it looks like its very recessed at the top but almost flush at the end.

Thanks for your help btw!

That's how most of them are. They're not perfect.

Thank you guys for your help!

I've decided to RL this one based on the SEL, SEL gap (there is clear light visible on some of the QC pictures) and the rehaut alignment.

I've been researching a bit and focusing on the rehaut of most pieces and most of what I've seen, they are more aligned than this unit, so I'm hoping that with some time a good one will come!

Also huge thanks to Elena from Puretime for the patience and great service, as I was provided with lots of pictures and video to see if it was aligned or not!

I prefer to wait a bit more and get an aligned piece, as some members are more picky than others and other people would enjoy my unit.
