I order this watch from Chazingtime as always. Ordered on April 4th, QC on April 6th and arrival today in EU.
Now to the review. I also do a short comparison to a noob v3 with v4 dial and CF bezel.
When I was unpacking the watch I thought that my friend sent me a Gen. Best Rolex Rep I have received since years. I think I had them all, starting with ARF V1, V2…noob V1, V2, V3. Built some Noob with ARF and built some Franken.
First of all, the crystal of the watch has a layer of AR on the inside of the crystal. This looks gorgeous on the black dial. It pops out. I always liked the black dial but none of the factories were able to deliver a watch with a correct dial. Subcounters always shiny, to fat etc…This is perfect. They are correct and not shiny. Best dial I have had sofar. Printing is crisp, I believe the fonts are good. Buff hands, they have corrected the length of the counter hands in the last batch. I may modd the hands on mine but wearing the watch I do not see a big difference to my other daytonas.Engraving on the rehaut is perfectly aligned. The case is as good as it can be, perfect SELs. They look gen. Best on a Daytona I have seen. ARF bracelet with a new clasp, no sharp edges, perfect. No oil bath needed.
Now the best is the bezel. It looks like gen compare to the CP bezel. Engraving is much better then CF. I have taken some pics outside in different light conditions, take your own opinion. CF much too dark. Lume also perfect.
The watch is 12.2 mm thick and weighs 136 gr, 1 link missing.
To me, the best 116500 in black out of the box. No mods needed.
Have ordered a white one too, will be here in a week.
