New Batch XF126600 and VSF126610 arrived for Xmas

I ordered both as soon as the new batch VSF/XF was available @ trusty.

Thriangle shipment via UK worked perfectly and my xmas present was delivered on Dec.23. :-D

Here are the first impressions:

Nothings changed I think they are just saying mk2 inferring crown dial

Don't think that's the reason, V1 already had that dial.

They’re listed it as (MRK2) not V2.
Latest ARF version is now also called (MRK2)

I think they are both v1 versions of the MRK2 gen dial.

Oops. Sorry didn’t read your post properly....the previous version already has the MRK2 dial.

No idea what TDs are now calling the latest version from arf and xf as MRK2 (not v2)

I hope that my claim "new batch" did not mix it up too much. What I ordered was :

I called them "new batch" as they were finally available again.

As of differences to previous makes: if you have any idea, what might have been changed- I can make some detail shots.

They are shown as V2 on Puretime, so I assumed they had been updated and they are re available in volume again. The cyclops certainly looks better then before.

May I ask, is the dial matt or more glossy and does it become tropical / brown-ish in bright sunlight?

I may get this one to replace my ARF v2…

As of color: I'm lacking a gen reference in order to be able to answer that properly. To me the dial looks a bit matt. Compared to the VSF 126610 it looks more... anthracite... (see pic below). Behavior in direct sunlight: I'll post an update, once the clouds have cleared. Which might take a ady or a week.

I have the gen 126600 and can take macros if required. I also have the Arf mk 1 and toying with getting the XF, as it looks a better rep than the Arf, especially the 12 o clock marker where Arf haven’t got this right. This jumped out at me the first time I tried on the gen and to me is the biggest tell.
Still a nice watch though.

Biggest issues i recall was the red was a tad darker and the date mag was a bit larger. But the overall xf is the best of all versions
