I agree about the crown, not too fussed about the curvature. The poorly finished and machined screws really cheapen it imo. I asked ABD (the actual modder, not Aurasash) if he can do anything. Even if they just stick the RM035 carbon crown in there somehow and refinish & machine the top of the screws flat would make be good enough for me.
I think there is a lot of potential. Good bones but needs mods.
I think the red hides the bad bezel pattern better than the white. However, the font and dial markers are supposed to be red on the gen Red Quartz but are white on the red rep. So the white rep might be better in that sense.
If ABD responds might also ask about CNCing a full carbon midcase instead of the rep black plastic as well.
Still might purchase it anyway
