Looking at the picture there doesn't appear to be a stem tube, or indeed a stem going into the movement. Assuming this is still a prototype

as in casewise and finish this will beat any other rep we have atm. unless some other factory will come out with a superrep. We can only dream of a great rep with 1:1 tourbillon.

A few things I wonder about...
Is this grade 5 titanium as per gen (preferable as it is twice the hardness of 316L stainless)?
Have they basically transferred the components from the Seiko movement to their own custom bridge plates, or have they just concealed as much of the Seiko bridge plates as they can?
Any plastic gears or jewels?

Am not sure at this point if that's the actual balance wheel, or just decoration. It depends on if this Seiko movement is just crammed between the decorative plates, or rebuilt around custom movement plates. We need a video of one running to see what the story is. If it is the former, for $600, it looks pretty lousy value when compared against the RM001 which has a more complicated construction, working tourbillon and power reserve, for $800.

Like i wrote - it is a faux balance wheel/tourbillon - without function.
There is no spring inside and every other component of the balance wheel assembly is missing (pallet fork etc.).
Perhaps they have found some way to make it move to provide some kinetic display, otherwise ,apart from better build quality, it pretty much like every other bad replica of this watch out there.

The gen, even if you had the money, isn't available; 16 pieces, all with collectors.
The EURF version is a nice effort, but fails to capture the aesthetic of the gen
The extent of my expectations for this release was to have the faux tourbillon make some movement. Given the hype, if it's just the same old faux gears hiding a plain movement, it's disappointing
It's a rep guys, it'll always be. I'd rather have a watch that is close in terms of fit and finish vs a tourbillon. Not a single tourbillon will be done correctly. IMO this is a great piece. Not my thing but it looks amazing. AR is spot on, which is a big factor imo.
