When I bought my first Rolex, I bought an air king 14010 and I loved it for years. Still do. It was an option to come on a jubilee or the dealer offered to swap it. A few years ago I saw a jubilee on one in an article.

I think it goes pretty well with the airking, trouble is I don't have mine yet to measure and look for a jubilee bracelet.

I am getting a 116900 the next days and I then can show wrist shots with the Superjubilee and the bracelet of the 126710 GMT.

No my Air King is still stuck at the local post sorting center which had a shut down because of Corona!
What I heard is that they will get back to "normal" work this week. So there is chance to get the watch this week.

The air king's dial is busier than the explorer I and hence makes the jubilee more appropriate. The air king's original oyster bracelet's center is polished, so I think the watch's placement is on the dressier side.
Also, I was thinking about polishing the lugs and center links of my explorer I to make it dressier and not too flashy with a jubilee.

I think the Air King looks good on almost anything. Have one on order as well as a black rubber strap (green next...?). The color scheme is friendly for some matched combos, but a SS jubilee is another good idea. Go for it.
