So... as most of you have seen. I have been “down sizing” a lot of my collections.

Anyways, right now most of my watches are either sold/no longer worn and kept in a forgotten box/borrowed by friends/getting worked on.

I wonder if I’ll be saying the same thing in 10 year’s time... Nah! I’m going to hoard forever!!

Well, maybe - but in the meantime, I need to try reorganizing my 4 watch boxes from the current (OCD) Maker/model layout and organize one with a “current rotation” selection in. I’ll post a pic here when that’s done.

Oh okay then, if you insist... I’ll get “before” pics when the new jewel in my collection - the Franken “Swiss only” 16610 - arrives later today!

The boxes hold a dozen watches. And I have some overspill too... I need another one.

The Kermit is a stock BP. (But not for long).

The albino is a Li-sourced 6542 PanAm. Had it serviced and installed a better Clark crystal. That’s pretty much it!

Any friend of the Roley is a friend of mine... As I said to the long-suffering, amazing Mrs. n0bby er I mean Mrs. p0pperini just now, "I can't help it. I just love the Sub."

Also... I didn't even notice the non-Rolex box shot was upside down. LOL. Will be fixed in a jiffy...

My watch box/collection isn't nearly as organized. I put my on and off so often that I need them to just lie flat as putting them on those pillows, I just end up with them resting on the surface near the watch box instead of in it.

So I now put my watches in a toolbox and it's a perfect use of space. Boxes and big equip in the top. Straps in the next. Watches in the next two (ones I wear in one drawer and ones I'll probably never get to in the other). Some tools and equipment in the bottom.

It cuts down on general clutter around the cave as well.

I changed my nick because it had been pointed out to me that the "real life me" was pretty easy to find - which isn't really recommended in this pastime! So, just being a bit cautious.
