I would of bough 5 at $200 but yeah you cant get them new and used prices have skyrocketed

OP sometimes you can get lucky on WUS and get a gen for around $300 used

The first sales results when I just put int he model # he posted were all sub200, and since I didn't know anything about that exact watch, seemed cheap.

2nd gen monster...no longer in production. Doubt you will ever see it rep'd as well. Ebay is probably your best bet. BTW..absolutely love mine, although I don't like the AR on the crystal I modded...looking for a clear AR crystal!!!

2nd gen monster...no longer in production. Doubt you will ever see it rep'd as well. Ebay is probably your best bet. BTW..absolutely love mine, although I don't like the AR on the crystal I modded...looking for a clear AR crystal!!!

I bought a mint first gen from BigOffshoreDaddy for $160 or $175. They come up for sale M2M once in a blue moon. It’s my go to swimming, hiking f’ing around watch. I gues it’s a ultra rare, unicorn watch. I’ll put it up for $1k.

@xj4sonx How you managed to get a Gen 3 Monster, and the green version too?! I searched for the SBDC023 but couldn't find one that was reasonably priced in the US. Then, on an oversea trip to Singapore, I found it brand new for about $330USD. IMO it is one of Seiko's best dive watches.

Bought it direct from Japan on the day of release and I paid well over $330 usd LoL

I just looked at your collection again, and you got some mighty fine Seiko divers! I like Seiko automatic watches and have a small collection of the vintage ones, mostly dress watches. My Seiko grail at the moment is a working 6105. These old divers aren't that rare but they are getting more expensive every day. When I was in Japan in January, I scoured the vintage watch districts in Tokyo, including Nakano Broadway, but walked away with nothing because the old Seiko watches in Japan are even more expensive than here in states.

yep...flexin Seiko's all day here...it's going to be hard for you to find a 2nd gen orange in that price range. But I'll leave you with a few of mine...notice the Turtles, an original 6309 slimcase with sapphire and the barrel arbor jeweled, a 6309 red mod, a 7002 original, my lovely SKX w/sapphire...and a Turtle reverso! Sorry for hi-jacking...

Yes my all original 6309 suwa dial stole on Ebay I have no idea why the bidding stopped but boy am I glad lol.
My favorite at the moment is my SBDC063 it's so much watch for the money

I really like your soxa mod was the 007/009 the base for mods or did you use a 7002
