Calling all NOOB V7 Hulk owners...

I'm pondering if its worth upgrading to the V9 or the ARF? I love this watch and it hasnt miss a beat! The A2836 is no joke. Not sure if my insert is a good one or not but it doesn't matter to me because i dont think i will be called out on it. Just asking the rest of the v7 owners is it worth another $500 for the 904 and to upgrade? Or should I stick with whats reliable...decisions, decision.

I think you will be called out on your insert mate. That's the only thing in my view. Well, there is no point spending $500+ on a V9 because the insert will still need an upgrade although not as bad as a V7. But I think if you upgrade the v7 insert to a spongebob one or just paint it yourself with some high quality enamel (the thread is somewhere buried here) then it will be just fine

If you can send a pic of the v7 SEL next to your V9 SEL showing all the miles then I'll be compelled. Otherwise, 7 is two digits before 9

Wouldn’t “upgrade” to a v9 if I were you. 904l looks and feels no different despite what people say.
