Go-to alternatives when noob v7 bezel insert isn't hugely liked please?

Would greatly appreciate any comments you might have here, please.

My brother and I both own Noob V7 no-date subs (114060), with A2836 movement.
(It has been my first ever rep!)

I'm absolutely thrilled with the watch, it's absolutely beautiful but the bezel insert on the noob v7 doesn't pack a punch for me anymore. I've grown slightly less keen on its colour. Both for the insert's numbers being grayish (I'd love them more visible) and for what I've been describing as a slightly 'milky gray' that the black ceramic turns in some lights. The gen seems a little blacker to me somehow.
Although the noob photographs absolutely beautifully black! I love the bezel insert in photographs more so than IRL.

I totally understand if anyone thinks I'm being too picky here.. I am being I think.
Plan: I'm purchasing a 5 digit to see if I'm just happier without ceramic, and love the metal bezel even moreso than what I currently own.

But back to the beautiful noob, I've a question please that I've really struggled to find an answer for having trawled the forum:

I'd know I'd not enjoy a paint mod for my V7.
So solution, if I wanted to change the bezel insert. What are my options?

If finding a genuine bezel insert is out of the question. And if noob feels to dull and milky to me.
Who might I go to, to buy a different bezel insert? (I just wonder if there's anyone obvious in your guys' minds and I'm being silly for having not spotted their offerings yet on the forum, or is there a TD or website anyone please could share with me to help me at this stage?)

(A dafter question I have is do these 114060 take the same sized bezel insert as a 116610, yes?)

(And thirdly, but not a serious question.. I've had the pleasure of opening my brother's (non working) 114060 before attempting anything on mine. How the heck to I get this back together :p)

Huge thanks for anyone's kind suggestions!

Gosh, it looks cracking on camera - am I just being too fussy? Or is there anywhere in your mind where I could buy others to try out please? Thanks!!! :)

Spongebob does a platinum filled insert or you can go gen. Those are the options.

The spongebob mod is pretty damn good

But yeah I think gen would satisfy him

Just gotta drop a decent chunk of change.

I don't think that'll fit OP's watch. He has the no-date.

I almost wondered if a less special, 'less gen like' bezel insert would satisfy the wants for bolder black, and brighter 'platinum' by having a cheap, silly eBay purchase like this?

Thanks a lot for your reply. [emoji1303]
Will look up people's spongebob paint mods, I'd heard of smokes brilliant paint mod too, but for me not liking the milky greyness of the ceramic's black, I think It'd still not be right for me personally.
I wonder if a cheap and tacky bezel instead from an unknown factory would suit me just for being bright (almost white) and blacker.
Tacky huh :D maybe ceramic is just not my favourite.
We'll see! Huge thanks man

THANK YOU for your kind reply.
Do you suspect a no date takes a smaller sized bezel insert than 40mm?
Perhaps 38mm? No worries if you don't happen to know off the top of your head. Thanks for the cracking reply. More great food for thought :)

So in conclusion, I should just get over it and enjoy all the gorgeous bits of the watch I love, or seek gen insert.
Thanks ever so much guys

There's somewhere around a detailed description of the inner-outer bezel diameter differences between the two watches but I can't find it. This implies the faces themselves are a different diameter too, and in turn that it's not simply a matter of swapping dials from one to another to generate a no-date from a 116610.

i think it would be smart to get a gen insert, because with such a staple watch like this, you'll have it for a long time. paying for it will be better in the long run

UPDATE:
There were gen bezels on eBay yesterday for well over £450. And when faced with them, I thought realistically.. it's not right spending lots on this particular watch. (A watch where 116610 is printed on a 114060 etc. Lets just keep this a clean, looked after but fun piece)
So I hit my paint cabinet ;) very personally happy with my result. I've fallen in love with the watch again.
Thanks for your help guys!!

Did you find out if the insert was the same? Can you just exchange the insert or do you need to change the whole bezel
