3KF Case mod and Date Wheel mod

Hello,

I'm quite new on this forum but I've been a long time lurker. I'm currently working with a factory to produce corrected 5711 cases that will fit cloned 324 movements.

These cases will correct the following issues:

corrected lugs to eliminate large first link issue,

corrected holes on lugs to correct bracelet position.

corrected bezel size and corrected beveling.

I've created a CAD (STL) file and updating it as I go along. I'd like to get everyone involved, if you have any measurements regarding the gen case dimensions (bezel, mid case, caseback) please let me know. Once the production is finished I will make it available to all forum members.

On a side note I'm also working on producing corrected date wheels for the 3KF (Any help will be appreciated regarding font/font sizes etc.) which I will also make available once I'm finished.

As i already got the correct files for the DW i will see if i can find some time to rearrange the numerals according to gen order.

No need to fiddle around and start from scratch.

Will talk to Keylog and Spongebob if there is anything planned from their side.

BTW - if someone is abled to wrap his hands around 324 SC Date wheel blanks it is only helpful as this is the tricky part - lol

Must be a glitch, I've sourced a gen dw but it won't get to me until next week. I'm thinking of using the PF bracelet but that would increase the build cost for everyone. Getting the bracelets made also would increase the production cost significantly though because the factory's quote is based off per gram of steel used. Also the polishing beveling brushing is based off the number of parts produced.

Regardless I will make a 3D rendering of the Gen bracelet and get a overall quote first.

My guess will be that making a bracelet won’t only be expensive but also kinda hard since the parts to be replicated are more. IMO if you can get a gen speck case will be more then enough. The PF bracelet per se is more solid but users say ppf is close to gen.

User wise, I think the PPF is more popular so maybe they can convert their PPF to your upcoming case. Consider the crystal dimensions when producing it though, I doubt any of the factories have it gen speck, unless you’re in planning to make just the middle case. If so I’d use the PF as base since the PF bezel is ok and than users can just move it.
