New GRF 5726 v3

Trusty a few minutes ago posted the new GRF 5726 v3 to replace the V2 from a few months ago. Looking at the photos, I can’t see the difference.

ignore the price of $8,888, that is just a temporary placeholder until Trusty gets the pricing from the factory.

Movement engravings look more crisp on the V3 and the datewheel is a bit thinner, still sunken though.

The big change I’m looking for is the date window and logo placement. Doesn’t seem changed on v3

Date window still in place, day/month boxes still too small, crown still protruding out too far...give us a REAL update.

The day/month boxes are still too small and too low on the dial. They should be closer to “Patek Philippe” text

I am far from an expert here, but from a layman's perspective, the GRF really catches my eye. If the DW issue can be fixed by modding then I'd grab one.

Aside from what others have mentioned I see that the pushers on the sides of the case are now centered...small change, but I imagine it bothered some.

tangokilo I know you got your V2 not that long ago and, I imagine, are aware of this new V3...as the resident expert, have you noticed any real changes or differences from yours? At least something that would prompt you to action? Or are they merely cosmetic?

i try to answer to You.
i ve got the V2 like tangokilo, i followed the old thread on it and then i buy one in white.
Yes, the flaws are even the same on the new V3, the only thing is the recessed pushed that are centered now, only cosmethic,the functions are even the same and the month doesn t change automatically, the date change with the crown and not with the pusher , the date window is worthless like in v2 , box month/ day even too low .
For the rest, i think is a good looking watch, i ve got it from some month and never had a problem, it rum smooth and it is finished well, but is not worth the switch for me

Hello tortuga, I think the main difference between V2 and V3 is the pusher holes are now centered on the sides of the case. I think it is a good update but not enough for me to switch to V3 since I have the V2.

I thought perhaps the movement had some updates as well but I could not determine any changes there.

Also, I am definitely not the resident expert on this model hahaha. But thank you for the kind words.

I do not think GRF and Green Factory are the same thing. If you look at the

Vs.

You will notice case and dial difference between the two. One of the big differences is the calendar and moon phase corrector indents, with GRF being the better of the two.

How would you say the dial color compares to gen or the PPF 5711? It looks very flat white in these photos. Does it have a silver-tone in other lights?
