PP Aquanaut 5167 by 3KF Questions

Hey guys! New to the Patek Philippe rep game.. and decided to grab an Aquanaut from 3KF. I’m well versed in other reps (thanks to this forum) but have a few questions in regards to this particular model. I read quite a few posts and decided to go with the 3K Factory 5167 with the SS strap and then order a black rubber band from ZF Separately...

I’m in the process of reviewing my QC photos and noticed that the “7” appears to be bolder than the other numbers on the dial in particular the 6 and 8. Not sure if this is unavoidable or if some of you have been able to get a better dial... also I read that the datewheel usually has a small font and can be off-center quite often — mine indeed is one of those watches (too high)... would those of your familiar with purchasing this watch feel the chance of improvement slim, making these things not worth RL’ing the watch over?

I also wish they just engraved the entire movement lol... still looks nice, but worried it’ll come off if serviced.

I have no experience with 3KF and would be curious for others to advice as well.

Also noticed that the '12' o clock marker seem to have no social distancing with the minute markers.

KMF has this same issue with the '5' marker at the bottom of the dial. Very unfortunate since these are two factories that has the better dial lines that do not pass through the '5' and '6'.

I don't think the 7 is bolder,it's just the way the markers reflect the light.mine looked a bit odd on the QC pics but when I got it I was very surprised by how good they were.

mine stopped working after 3 weeks so I had to get it serviced,let's just say my watchmaker wasn't too impressed with movement????

+1. While, the 3K dial is great, it is not absolutely perfect to gen specs when it comes to thickness of each digit. Some numbers appear bolder in the QC pics because of how light is reflecting back. In real life, the 3K dial is very good (had mine over 2 months and happy with it). At wrist distance, you will really not notice any digit thickness variation. The bigger issue is DW - Not bold enough and and not centered. Having seen many other PPs (and owning the Nautilus with Mods), the DW digits not centered is pretty evident on wrist (drives me nuts ). Hoping for a fix in future.

Mine winding seems to fail after 5months . Wind like totally no effect . Issue also is for local watch shops to find the parts even when u even manage to find one to understand the movements
