Has anyone tried to put the custom PF dw into the MKF 5711?

nope because i dont have one, but BIONONE did some digital measurements and came to the conclusion that dw have different setting and position. maybe the JJF might fit...

Do we need to buy a MKv5 to measure? I will happily do it if it means moving this project forward. Hell, I'll even send it to someone if they are conus and affiliated with the project. You'll have to send it back obviously, but I wanna get this moving. The PF is just okay - the MKv5 blue dial is calling to me.

I haven’t seen any update on this but I remembered reading a different thread where someone mentioned that they were continuing this project (can’t recall who). Is this still green light?

Would love to know if I or anyone can contribute to get this going especially with the V6 just released without any substantial changes...especially not the date font.

As far as I know the project is still ongoing, just waiting for some measurements from Logixa .

It measures 10mm from the center of the hands pinion to the date window. date windows is 3mm width and 2mm height.

Sorry to say this but without a 0.0xmm exact measurement we cant rep anything that can be named as „decent“ or even „centered“

you also have to keep in mind that the crystal distort dimensions by a certain amount.

Unfortunately we have to have a dissassembled one measured untill anything can even start...

Thank you for your efforts. I'm sure that if anyone was to measure a MKF V5 that was taken apart would come up with the same results as yours. Thanks again. However, BIONONE is correct by requesting that a measurement with the watch taken apart is best to insure accuracy. Another measurement independent from each other for comparisons would even be better.

Also needed is a verification that the MKF V5 is the same as the MKF V6 as far the dial and date window location is concerned. Hopefully we can get some volunteers who already have a MKF V5 or MKF V6, that are willing to take apart their watches and provide the necessary measurement(s).

I measured it with an digital sliding measure with 2 points after the the dot measurements.

If this isnt enough and the watch has to be taken apart then I'm sorry, I dont want to take mine apart as long as it's working and I don't have the time for it
