Nautilus 5712 on Toro's Website

IMHO: That 5712 is one of the worst PP Nautilus replicas I have seen so far... There ist too much wrong to write it down. See attached pic of a Gen dial and you know what I mean

Unofortunately I do agree with you. I was really trying to like it but it has just too many obvious flaws...

I doubt it..it doesn’t work that way. If TD’s have watches in stock trust me they will put them out. They’re trying to sell the watches not hold on to them.

In all fairness it’s the best 5712 rep I’ve seen to date, so they’ve done a better job than anyone has previously, but still way off.

It seems that no one can get the Nautilus dial colour right, always too blue and not grey enough!

The 5712 dial doesn’t have grey in it. It’s siblings in 18K Rose Gold and 18K white Gold, are fitted with a slate grey dial.

The 5712 blue dial is 100% a grey-blue colour, it is not bright blue!

Lol I definitely do not like to disagree with you. I actually respect a lot of your opinions, I’m not trying to come off like someone that likes to bump heads with others. I guess you see it your way and I see it my way..no harm in that, it’s all good!

Yea the rep color is completely off..I’ve handled a couple of Nautilus watches before. All I was stating is that the 5712 doesn’t have grey in it. Even when you search online for a 5712 they never described the dial with grey. Different pictures from different angles give off a grey look with the blue dial. All of Patek’s dials play differently with lighting. You can get a dark blue, a lite blue, a blue grey, bright blue and even a purplish blue all depending on the lighting.

They appear to be different with the 5712 being more blue-gray and the 5711 more blue-green but based on all the comments on that and other threads online it appears that they are indeed the same colour and the only difference is due to how busy or not the dial is

The funny thing is that there are cheapies with a better dial (both in terms of colour and hands) but that are completely off in terms of everything else.

I've asked the owner and he said it's 13mm (!!!) thick. Now if you could combine the case of the one listen on Toro's website with the dial of this DHgate special, then you'd really have something...

Those little holes aren't really an issue if you're prepared to spend $$ on a mod to fix. I know Jonj480 works with steel bracelets

I think to mod this watch is a waste of money as you have to mod a little more than just the holes in the bracelet if those are the biggest fears of being called out on that piece of junk

What do you think of the blue dial? It has for sure the same flaws as the gray dial version but at least the gen is not in white gold
