Dial looks good, but thickness has to be the immediate question. It's a2824, so I'm guessing it's going to come in on the thicker side.

10mm is a little on the thick side, but not a dealbreaker, I don't think. The a2824 is a reliable movement, and this one's going to be a lot quieter than the Miyota 5711s. Certainly an interesting new option for folks who haven't yet pulled the trigger. The dial face in particular looks quite good. Great printing job.

I like the dial as well, 1.5mm extra thickness shouldn't kill, hopefully the case back soaks up the difference. 9. Low mm would have been an automatic buy (no pun intended)

It is not slimmer. They changed from miyota 9015 to 28xx and the later is a bit thicker. Ryan did a post where he answered some question about the new 5711 release, and he said it was about 10.5mm.

Asking it to be as thin as the gen is tough... I doubt it will be thin probably around 10mm

I'm not a patek prof but dial color, printing etc look way better than other versions. Maybe I'm wrong

I think the dial color, the printing, the font and the markers at 12 o'clock look better than other versions.
