5711 nautilus vs AP 15400 royal oak

Hello everyone,


For quite some time, I've been debating wether I should buy the 15 400 JF Royal Oak blue dial or the 5711 Nautilus BP V.1 blue dial as my latest rep. I will probably end up buying both anyways in the near future. But I'd like to know if you were in my shoes which one you'd get first and why. Also no need to bring up the 100$ difference between both reps, it really doesn't matter. They boast similar specs size wise and both come with a mitoya 9015.

Definately the JF AP 15400, its in a different league bro.

You will be mind blown by the quality of the watch. If you decide to get the BP 5711 afterwards, it might put you down due to how good these JF 15400 are made.

Ahh I'm getting more replies here than in the AP subforum. Gotta say I'm kind of suprised you guys picked the AP first. It speaks for itself I guess on how the 15400 (JF)'s a super rep! Thanks for the replies

I have both, and both deserve the praise of great looks however, for now, the AP has a bracelet much more agreeable to wear as it is much more flexible.
The PP is a bit stiff and far from the Gen's quality...

The 15400 as the quality is just on another level. That being said, I sold my 5711 and I'll be getting the new MKF V4 5711 in the next weeks. I don't think my opinion will change, but these 2 might get closer.

I'm gonna sell my ap 15400 blue dial and keep the nautilus. Will see if a 15202 has the upper hand.. Otherwise I still prefer 5711 over 15400
