Godfathar Is this the style you chose? Only shows 18/16 sizing on the strap, isn't the gen a little wider than that?

Grey strap on this watch is the only way to go. Have a grey pebbled leather strap on mine from B & R Bands

Use the rep buckle - it is PP branded. A buckle from CF isn't.

Godfathar did you end up selling your 5227R? Just curious as to why. I’m debating between getting the 5296R and 5227R.

I already have the 5296G and I’d rather have the 5227R for the sake of difference in style, not just color.

Thoughts?

-Measurements for case/buckle and thickness?

I believe the CF colour code is 024 177. Square scales alligator strap in this colour is €290

For the strap to conform to Patek Philippe standards, it should have a "Chamoisine" lining, and the ecru stitching should be done by hand (additional €40)

International shipping is a further €15

So in the customizer you choose "Alligator Shiny Square Scaled" and under the colour "Grey". Then 21 / 16 for the width, "Straight fit at the lug", "Round profile", "4.0mm" thickness, "Ecru" colour handstiched, Camille Fournet luca calf leather lining and thats it, yes?

Have you ordered via e-mail or via their online customizer? There are no colour codes online. It only says "Grey".

I'm not sure if this lug width is correct - I read on the "ZF Calatrava is out" thread that it is 21mm, but I think it may be 19mm, the same as the gen.

Ignore that - was confusing the 5227 (which is 19mm) with the 5296 (which is 21mm).
