Thank you so much RepFR for these great photos! How do you yourself describe your impression of the watch, what do you like and what do not?

Well i do not have much experience on Panerai replica as this is my first one.
Only got 2 cheap homages in the past but quality and finishing were of course far behind this Rep.

So overall i am very satisfied with this piece condireing the price point
It's well finished, the case and dial are clean (i mean no polishing problems or dust under crystal, which I had on previous homages).
The crown action for handwinding is very pleasant.

Now I know there are some obvious flaws when compared to the gen.
Like missing engraving on the lever, caseback shape, lever tip shape...

The lever Pin is not flush with the CG.
The lume is not great. Doesn't last very long and there is a little color difference between hands and indices.
The crystal AR might be better I suppose. I do not have a particular problem with It but I would just say something more efficient would be great.

The strap is made of plastic I think (the keepers at least are obviously plastic) so It's not the highest quality, but at least it's well finished (visually speaking).

Thanks for the feedback, RepFR

You are right in everything, there are both factual errors and some shortcomings, but judging by your photos, the overall experience is pretty good and you seem to like it.

I think, as a start in rep panerai, this is not bad at all, especially at a time when large factories have problems with supplies.

Of course, nothing can be done with the main shortcomings of this watch, but the CG pin can be slightly raised, this is not difficult, I did this on the PAM390 new noob, which also needs it.

Congratulations anyway, and thanks for your feedback! It's nice that not everyone makes purchases quietly, but shares with the community!

Someone knows if there were improvements to the flaws since the review?

Still waiting for VSFs to be fully back. Really wanted a 1312 but these look good.

If only 634 had engraved lever that would be instant buy. I can’t believe they didn’t engraved lever on 634.

I've been a bit of a lurker on these forums and been impressed with the knowledge and help, after scouring around a bit it seems HWF has stealthily improved some models, from a recent picture it seems the PANERISTI engraving is now present on the lever of the 634. As to how accurate this is I'm unsure, would be worth comparing with gen photos

hopefully this may help some

Sounds great. Is that pic of HWF lever? I saw recent HWF 634 and paneristi was missing.

Yes, this is the latest version, the flaws are still screw bars as opposed to spring, and the caseback is still the wrong shape (should be competely round) and screw in

but the Paneristi engraving is the biggest improvement

Sounds good. I’m glad they are improving those models. 634 may be future buy for me.

Hello. Just wanted to say that today I received my QC for a PAM915 and it appears that there are some improvements, specifically:
  • Strap has now correct stitching (parallel to the lugs) and appear to be of higher quality
  • CG pin is flush with CG (to be confirmed by close inspection)
Will post pictures upon arrival.
