The strap on the one labelled REP is closer to GEN as I've just bought one from Panerai and thats how the blue logo looks (not like the one labelled Gen which is exactly the same as the VSF strap), are you sure you have-not labelled it up incorrectly on the top two pics??

I always tought that the seconds subdial with the concentric circles is one of the flaws on the rep and that the gen has no texture on the subdial but it is completely flat..

From looking at the gens online they are flat and not circled, I think they have them mixed up in your pics, will check mine when I get home.

The newest VSF Rep is pretty much a super rep (movement same functions etc, and wouldn't be called out, stick a GEN strap on and your good to go.

From looking at the straps again the one labelled rep would be the Gen strap as it has a slightly longer tail piece before the holes that the rep does.

AFAIK, gen has a flat subdial, rep has subdial with concentric circles.

crazy good effort from vsf though, and lets be fair unless someones studying the watch and know exactly what to look for with a side by side comparison, people won't see the difference. Put a gen strap on with correct logo and your good to go.

Genuine 616 has FLAT subdial. It is just recessed but surface is exactly like the rest of dial. Observed on 3 gens of this watch personally.

Watch need v4 very small efforts like engraving on the side , rubber strap and subdial that’s all

Nice comparison, however the “gen” and “rep” labels are wrong on every single pic, they need to be reversed. For the gen, the date wheel is on 19, for the rep, it is on 20.
