Oh, missed it somehow. Didn't see any threads about it. I've been chasing lately some blue dial watches and this submersible PAM is one of the models I like.

Will have a look at the specs. Very interested to see if some new materials have been introduced in the rep world..

Tnx for the tip!

As the sales ads state, it is made of titanium, not BMG or Bulk Metallic Glass like the gen, although if we base it on the gen price, technically BMG would be cheaper than bronze. The material is very curious as it is very resistant to knocks and dents compared to stainless steel. In fact, when you drop a steel ball onto BMG, the ball bounces like it was hitting plastic.

But your QC pictures @dadog13 are also interesting, especially the one with the watch at an angle. It was mentioned in one of the other new submersibles that the crystal on the current batch of gens have no distortion when viewed from the side. Unlike say the PAM382, which displays the expected distortion, same as the gen.

@mysterio apprently the BMG material is as well very corrosion resistant. It would be interesting to see chinese rep factories introduce a new material. Probably it's not feasible until other brands introduce some more models made of it..

Highly doubtful they will ever use BMG. All I know is it takes extremely high heat and rapid cooling to make a legit BMG material.

But the watch looks slick nontheless.

Indeed, this material is so revolutionary, it is being used by NASA for their robots as it does not get brittle in the extreme cold of space.

Beautiful!

I wish they used the same pearl on the pam671... this has a thinner metal ring around the pearl.

On the PAM671, the metal ring surrounding the pearl is so thick I just can't unsee it :(

I'm really drawn to that glossy dial. It almost looks like enamel.

Love that deep sea blue! Would have preferred a SS unpainted seconds hand, cleaner IMO!

Hey I need your help!

A TD offer me a PAM692 XF with seagull ST2555 movement instead of A7750!

Is this movement to reliable?

Thank you!
