{*PCTeam*} Better later than never - small review of H-factory PAM 243 V2

Since there is shortage of Noob’s PAM 243 on the market and, meanwhile - H-factory reissued their version of PAM 243 - I decided to make this short notice (not review).


The original release of PAM 243 was a big hit from both factories few years ago. To summarize:


- both releases reached Super Rep status in ALE’s books
- Noob had better bezel, correct number of clicks (60) but worse sapphire and dial and V1 version had some problems with lugs’ quick release buttons
- H-factory had better sapphire with better loupe over date, better dial (no fat 6) but worse bezel (sharp edges of 5 minute indexes) and wrong number of clicks (120)


In absence of Noob’s PAM 243 - H-factory quietly release V2 of their PAM 243, removing all errors from V1:


- now the bezel has correct 5 minute indexes shape
- correct 60 click bezel mechanism (very stiff, no rattle at all, no back-movement)
- even better sapphire with flawless loupe edges (internal walls of loupe are polished nicely)
- better executed CG


The watch comes with soft rubber accordion strap (24mm).


IMHO is it now an inch better than Noob offering with acceptable price.

Very nice! Seems we completely missed this new update.
This is clearly a winner, that date mag is incredible and the whole watch is so nicely finished, beautiful flush CP (looks like the faux CP used by v6f), bezel markers greatly shaped, crisp and nicely polished edge chamfering, great pearl.
The only thing I'm not sure of is the CG lever shape, the tip looks too tall to me, or maybe it's the CG body a little too short.

Thank Polonus, it was only a trick of the perspective then. The only difference is the small chamfer on the upper side of CG that's not present in the gen one. Rep looks better in this regard

It seems that h maker has improved the PAM 243 and we have at this moment an alternative to Noob V2 (V3)
It seems even better in some aspects, as crystal and cyclops. Case and CG seem similar

It is a pity that H maker has not improved the width of polished edge of the bezel, which remains narrower than gen like happened in Noob version.

Polonus, what do you think about this matter??

ALE, You're right about still too-narrow polished edge. Seems strange since converting bezel from 120 click to 60 click required redesigning of the bezel - and why they did not update it while being there, I don't know... :/

Those were exactly my thoughts when I saw the "new" bezel. It is a pity that H maker has not considered the improvement of width of polished edge
IMO this narrow edge was the main flaw of Noob versions

hi i want to buy 243 so i contacted my local TD
and he send me this
ther's some dirt on one of the lume dot and also the cyclops while there's no frozen halo effect but it doesnt do any magnification, only distortion
can some one tell me wheter this is noob or H-Fac?
i can still return it if it's bad
please advice thank you.
