I believe its already updated. I ordered from my TD a couple weeks ago and he said it had the updated black balance wheel. QC shot:

That's correct, the black balance wheel appeared shortly after Christmas with the corrected reduced size pearl.
Good news, is this VSF -and is the BBW decorated?
It appears that its only available on the blue/grey and black colour combinations. I just ordered a blue/blue model and the TD checked with the factory, they havnt made a new run of those...
I went through PT, they sent me QC pics a couple of days ago. The blue/blue combo appears to still be the V1. When I asked they said that a V2 for blue/blue was not available yet. Other people have managed to buy the black version and the blue/grey version. Could also just be the TD trying to get rid of old stock. This is my first rep purchase from them, and so perhaps they are trying to con the new guys, but I like to believe they try their best. I made sure to ask them if they could source a V2 before I ordered. They promised they could, and then when I asked for confirmation after the QC pics, they said this was the latest version the factory had. So I am going to go with the blue/blue combination is less popular (which it seems to be, based on what people are saying here) and that they havnt sold all of the V1s in that color yet, so they have not made a V2 yet.
Biggest differences between the 2018 Seamaster Diver 300M by VSF V1 and V2 are:
1: Pearl is updated in V2 (Baseworld 2018 had a concept version that had a larger pearl that was copied for V1, it was downsized in production release, so V2 corrects to match)
2: The correct balance wheel would be silicon based and black (V2 just paints it black)
3: The rectangular markers at the 12 (double), 3,6, and 9 positions are to close to the outer edge of the watch in V1 (there should be a slight gap between the marker and the painted index line (that marks every minute). V2 corrects this.
Nice post and spot on with the version differences, there is also the bracelet centre link, it's fatter on the V2 as per the gen.

is that a scratch on the caseback?
I'm guessing as it's a QC pic, it's probably the plastic protection film.

Looks like they've added some more random engraving to the new batch...like they did with the CRPO. AU613 this time
Has anybody ordered one with the rubber strap? How is the quality of the rubber?
