Anyone know if a black balance wheel is set to be updated on future 300 releases?

Would you mind sharing which td has this for offer?

I went through PT, they sent me QC pics a couple of days ago. The blue/blue combo appears to still be the V1. When I asked they said that a V2 for blue/blue was not available yet. Other people have managed to buy the black version and the blue/grey version. Could also just be the TD trying to get rid of old stock. This is my first rep purchase from them, and so perhaps they are trying to con the new guys, but I like to believe they try their best. I made sure to ask them if they could source a V2 before I ordered. They promised they could, and then when I asked for confirmation after the QC pics, they said this was the latest version the factory had. So I am going to go with the blue/blue combination is less popular (which it seems to be, based on what people are saying here) and that they havnt sold all of the V1s in that color yet, so they have not made a V2 yet.

Biggest differences between the 2018 Seamaster Diver 300M by VSF V1 and V2 are:

1: Pearl is updated in V2 (Baseworld 2018 had a concept version that had a larger pearl that was copied for V1, it was downsized in production release, so V2 corrects to match)
2: The correct balance wheel would be silicon based and black (V2 just paints it black)
3: The rectangular markers at the 12 (double), 3,6, and 9 positions are to close to the outer edge of the watch in V1 (there should be a slight gap between the marker and the painted index line (that marks every minute). V2 corrects this.

Nice post and spot on with the version differences, there is also the bracelet centre link, it's fatter on the V2 as per the gen.

It seems I can't edit my post, so I will add a new one with the bracelet difference you talked about as well (thanks Pietros )

4: V2 has corrected the middle link size on the bracelet.

Honestly, I didn't notice this flaw as much, and now, looking at the photos it still seems rather slight. But they did increase the width of the center links in the latest bracelets. Here are some images for comparison with rectangles overlaid (all of the same size) to be able to compare the relative dimensions.

Screen-Shot-2019-03-17-at-8-48-14-AM.jpg

Gen (rendering from Omega's website, the center rectangles overlap a very slight amount) (Sorry, I forgot to outline the rectangles in a different colour)

Screen-Shot-2019-03-17-at-8-48-37-AM.jpg

V2 (it's a bit hard to see from the angle)

Screen-Shot-2019-03-17-at-8-49-04-AM.jpg

V1 (Unfortunately I forgot to outline the rectangles, but you can see that the two center rectangles overlap)
--------------------------------------------------------------------

In conclusion (from my extremely limited info (3 pictures, at different angles and only a rendering of the gen)).

V1 had a center link that was too narrow
V2 is better, but now has a center link that is slightly too wide.

However, (at least for me) its almost impossible to tell without getting out your callipers. If anyone has a better comparison, please post away.

Looks like they've added some more random engraving to the new batch...like they did with the CRPO. AU613 this time

Lol, good catch! I don't even try to understand why it is there
