Gen Rolex crystals

I have the arf submariner 116610 with eta2824 top grade in so far. I’m buying a crystal and would like to know which would look better.
B25-295-CAR-C1 or
B25-295-C12-C1 I know the B25-295-C12-C1 is the one for it but has blue hue like the Arf crystal. Any help on best look is muchly appreciated. Thank you.

C12 I'd for submariner, car is for a GMT master. The beveling of the edges is different, the crystal for the GMT will show some reflection of the indices on the dial. There should be no difference between them regarding anti-reflective coating color, as the only part of the crystal that has anti-reflective coating is the Cyclops, and should be pretty much colorless. Thanks guys. Yes I’ve been looking at profs and I might go that route. I was trying to go gen for the LEC but they are pricey almost as much as the watch.

Does anyone know how the DW magnification differs on the Gen crystal vs the Prof? The biggest annoyance of my ARF sub is the magnification is too strong on the DW.

The prof crystal in the picture above looks way better then the ARF crystal. I would say well worth the 158.00 the question is with the prof looking so good is it worth it to go gen for around 340.00 more then double profs price.

There is a minor difference between the Prof versus genuine. Whether it's worth double the price is a question only you can answer. I have prof crystal on my Omega as well as genuine on another Omega and my rolexes. I wouldn't get caught up on the LEC, has it's only really visible with a very very close inspection with the loupe. My personal preference is to stick with genuine for Rolex because it's so well-known and so recognized. I figure in for a penny in for a pound, and the crystal can be moved if you upgrade to a new watch.

Get the C12, yes it has a blue hue like the ARF but the magnification is improved.

I had Gen xtal too & prof is great alternative, depends on your budget what else you plan to do etc. Can’t go wrong with either

Anyone got a link on this forum as to how to remove the ARF crystal on a 116610LN and installing a new crystal please ?

Also do I need to purchase a new gasket when installing a new crystal ?
