That is the asian modification part added to the 2836's to make the GMT function. Other than buying a new Hangzhou movement, I don't think you can source them. There might be people here that have spare parts though....worth a shot.
Thank you
Hey merlix , did you manage to find a replacement? That's the achilles' heel of the CHS movements indeed, although some people say that after some proper cleaning and lubrication they might last longer.
Did you do anything specific that broke it, or were you following the usual instructions? (never change the hour when the GMT hand is between 10 and 2, never move the hour hand backwards, etc...).
I‘ve had the exact same issue on my watch unfortunately...Sitting @ domis since 1 month.
He managed to source a new spring for me but it broke again the same day.
Luckily a member here on Rwi sent his CHS gmt along with a Gen movement and several other Gen parts to my watchmaker, so now his old movement is landing in my watch.
Movement is a time bomb to be honest..hope they actually clone the 3186 soon.

Hello
I fixed the spring with a part of an syringe needle.
It seems that work but I don’t know how long.

Thanks mate. In your case, did you follow all the recommendations? I'm just trying to find out if these recommendations work or it's still a hit or miss...
Happy to help the forum members.

Why doesn’t someone try rendering these springs in acAD and 3D printing them?
Would a 3d printer be that accurate to that small size level?
