I think the faux 3 and 9s weren't Noob, they are JFs. I can't say I remember noob had made any non working chrono daytonas, but just A7750 and 4130 - I might be wrong. The 7750 (which I had own) is much chunkier (or at least it feels like it) than the 4130, I reckon at least 2-3mm more.
I think it depends on where you live in the world, I live in London so trust me a lot of people of about watches. Where a lot of people including myself are more cautious where a lot of people are getting violently robbed of their watches. A friend of a friend got robbed 2 weeks ago in Chelsea (think of a small Beverly Hills in London) with his 41mm DJ, he fought back and got cut up badly and needed to be at the hospital.
My dad is a grey gen dealer in HK, he actually said to me young girls would wear gen daytonas. Im not sure where you are based, but the watch culture in the East is pretty strong. I once went into a department store (dress quite casually cos it was hot) enquiring about the Vertu, the lady said the finishing of the phone will be similar to the Daytona you are wearing. When I moved to London, my flat mates at the time didn't transfer me the deposit on time and I was at the real estate agency, the owner of the agency said that's fine he can vouch for me with the deposit with the owner as he knows I was wearing a Zenith Daytona and is more than enough to cover the deposit. Until this day, my ex flat mate still tell this story to friends where my watch helped to secure the flat for us as it took like 2 days for the money to come into my account back in the day.
