I've bought from Pure-Time and ToroBravo and because of what I've read here I wanted to try Hont...

Wow... the 42mm P-Ocean ceramic TI/TI is exactly what I was just looking at on Hont's site. Curious if you took advantage of his wholesale pricing or ordered direct from the web?

Just received a beautiful Rolex Deepsea pro hunter PVD from Hontwatch. Ordered from the website. Great rep, great service seven days from order to speedy delivery Have also ordered from Puretime great website merch and service communication. Very happy to have these two dealers and all because of the positive comments and reviews on RWI Thanks guys. I would posy pics but don't know how. I'm also considering both those watches. Just emailed toro about the ceramic caliber 5 tag on bracelet (only has picture of rubber) and did many a search for the titanium PO so definitely post pictures when you get them please.

My first time buying 2 watches from Hont too!!!!

So... after several emails back and forth with Hont over the course of two weeks, I was able to get prices for two watches that I wanted, the 42mm Ceramic P-Ocean Ti/Ti and a Sinn U1 with s/s bracelet and an extra rubber strap w/o clasp. An email from Hont said the watches were to be ordered from the "factory" and it would be 3-5 days until shipment. Just sent the WU confirmation info to Hont via email. I will provide an update on this thread as things progress. If folks would prefer, I could start a new thread on this topic (pm me) otherwise I will just post below.

Confirmation from Western Union via text just now (pretty cool ... didn't know they would do that) that money was picked up. I got an email from Hont - "ok will do ready and ship asap" right about the same time as the money pickup.

Did you receive other QC pictures? For my comfort level I would need to see more QC shots including the case back, bracelet,clasp and a close up of the face to insure proper assembly.
The bezel not lined up and face shot turnedupside down would bother me.

I got QC's very quickly too. I opted for WU payment and DHL shipping. Paid Friday, he shipped Monday, DHL tracking shows the package is at customs in Cincinnati, OH as of today and delivery by end of day tomorrow, Wednesday 8/19. That is as fast as buying CONUS based M2M or TD. Unreal. Let me know if you are having the same experience. Thanks!

FYI, it's Wednesday 8/19 and the watches from Hont are out for delivery, on the truck. I should have them any time now. Constantly refreshing the DHL tracking page doesn't seem to be getting the driver to get here any quicker though, lol!!! Can't wait to get them and post pics and reviews. First purchase with Hont, and if this is the norm, then he is the MAN!!! Again, paid Friday, QC pics Saturday night / Sunday morning and then shipping confirmation Monday and tracking info for DHL. This is very cool!!!

I emailed Hont this morning (which was still Tuesday in China), and he provided DHL tracking information. The package arrived and looks like it made it through customs in Cincinatti and I should have it tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. DHL information implied it could still get stopped with a random search, but it seems unlikely if it cleared the first round of inspections. With regard to QC shots, I figure that Hont has been a TD for several years. If there were a lot of problems, he would have a good reputation. I was concerned from the photos of the PO that the bezel didn't look ceramic. He emailed me back promptly and assured me that it was. There was another QC shot of the PO that was a bit fuzzier, but shows the second hand in another position... indicating that it was running. There were also plenty of photos of the watch on his website, and I gave him the specific description and product number from his site. If it doesn't match, then I assume he will take the appropriate action to correct it.

Watches cleared customs as of 3:30am, and on the plane for Philly at 6am - out for delivery today.

Both watches arrived - both running right out of the box. The AR on the Sinn is SPECTACULAR! Like you can put your finger right through the crystal and touch the dial. Like it isn't there at all. The Sinn is friggin' built like a tank. I also purchased rep rubber straps thinking I could use the clasp from the s/s bracelet ... more than likely not. The Ti PO is a beautiful and well executed watch. Love the blue dial . . . subtle shade of blue that will go nicely with a well worn pair of jeans. I have my doubts whether the bezel is actually ceramic. Even though he confirmed via email that it was, it just seems to shiny. The AR on the PO is definitely not as good as the Sinn. The crown seems to stick out too far. The Ti PO is thicker and is supposed to be 42mm (like my PO) but unfortunately, it isn't. It measures only 40mm. I'm not sure that is a complete let-down, since I haven't sized it yet, but certainly not as listed. Bottom line is that Hont came through with fast delivery on some awesome watches.
