Vacheron Constantin Overseas 4500 straps

Oke folks, the 4500 by the BP is really growing on me. Love the more rounded shape that makes the watch wear smaller. As i have puny wrists, the older VCO by JJF feels a bit too big on my wrist.

So question is would like to see leather straps being developed for it. You have probably seen my other VCO straps and so get the idea about the quality fit etc. Price should be same, around $220-230 for croc/gator and $180 for calf/non exotic leather strap.

I REALLY want rubber straps. I would be willing to shell Dough out for that.

Unfortunately rubber straps cannot be handmade. Rubber straps are only made by industrial methods and machines.

I need some help from the guys who already own the watch. Could somebody check if the screwbar that is holding the bracelet at the case is unscrew-able. I won't be able to reproduce the quick release mechanism obviously, so to attach the strap you'll have to remove the bar, fit the strap into the slot and then secure the strap on case by slotting in the screwbar. Same as it's on the older VCO version by JJF.

And one more thing. If somebody has both JJF and BP versions, could you post a side to side picture ? Just to compare the size and fit on the wrist.

BP is indeed unscrewable. Ironically enough, the quick release isn't so releaseable.

I mean the screw turns, no doubt. I just havent had any luck popping out the screw or the bracelet for that matter. Just using the tiny eyeglass screw bit on my Leatherman Wave.

it my be jammed inside. Sometimes this happens wit AP screwbars, the cap just won’t come out.

Problem is we are not sure the pin is removable. It may be jammed on some watches and so you won't be able to take it out.

Some more input from the owners of the watches would help form a clear view before we can start the project.
