Help me choose a Gen GMT watch

So, I've finally decided to pull the trigger on a mid-level GMT watch but I'm having trouble picking between two watches.

The first watch is the SBGE205 Spring Drive GMT with the champagne dial
The second is the Tudor Black Bay GMT Pepsi

I know they couldn't be more unlike each other but I love both of them. The SBGE is a dressier watch and has the Spring Drive movement which has always intrigued me. The BB GMT is the hottest new release and I've always wanted a Pepsi GMT that isn't a Rolex. Nothing against Rolex but I feel like Tudor is the younger hipper brand at the moment.

What does the RWI community think?

Easy choice - Tudor GMT as it reminds me of the classic Rolex tool watches.

You won’t go wrong with that purchase and reselling should be easy if you have a change of heart. But with the classic Pepsi look from Rolex’s younger sibling, why would you?! ????

Have you considered other manufacturers such as Omega, Steinhart or Panerai?

Another option in the same price range is the 16570, either in polar or black.

Yes I considered all of those as well but decided on the Black Bay GMT. The fact that it’s Pepsi bezel looks Coke-ish at certain angles sold me.

I would dish out just a bit more and go for a 16570 polar explorer. It’s a versatile sports classic, with a good case size, not too too heavy, as opposed to tudors.

I was considering the polar Explorer as well but i decided I’m just not a fan of that fixed bezel. Yeah the Tudor is thick but it’s the thickest watch I have so I’ll give it a pass. I’m not game for Big Pilot or ROO thickness.

I love Tudor I just find the GMT too big for my wrist.
Nice watch.
