Came across this 50mm beauty in Zurich, and after deliberating picked the beige dial on brown Nato strap with faux aged loom hands and indices. Large raised numerals, finished in green Super Luminova, screams crossover between field and pilot watch, and as a owner of a few sub 40 field options, the outrageously large 50mm dial on my 8,5inch wrist made me weak at the knees. Yes, it doesn't strictly adhere to the defenition of "field watch" anymore, given its size, but who cares - it stands out in any field 
.
The case is finished in a brushed bronzed patina, and the back shouts out the usual details - including number 1 out of 550 pieces. That is what ultimately sold me, as I'm a sucker for limited edition collectibles.

Small unobtrusive date window at 3 o'clock
Price:
Right now about $1250 - but with a bit of discount, I thought it close enough to qualify, hope you agree.
Final thoughts on wearability:
probably a bit shouty, so don't grab this one if you like subtlety. This fairly hefty piece alsi wears a bit flat on the wrist, so I think it demands a thicker wrist if comfort is key.
