Good afternoon everyone. I am contemplating parting IMG_4342.JPGIMG_4343.JPGIMG_4344.JPGIMG_4345.JPGIMG_4212.JPGIMG_4165.JPGwith 2 of my gen watches. I would really appreciate some input into what they are worth.

One is a 1957 Omega, serviced, new glass ,polished, gen strap/deployant, manual wind.

The second is a 1974 Certina Blue Ribbon Polished, dial restored and new glass, automatic.

Thanks in advance for your input and help,

I would definitely keep the Omega, that vintage look is quite lovely.

The Certina I have no idea on value, but I would suggest you to go on eBay and check similar sales

I am having trouble seeing the images, but I would keep that omega it is an awesome watch (if you will sell it keep me in mind if it's a reasonable price I'll pick it up!)

The omega looks really nice. Is it 34mm?

Hey Steve. It is a 36mm. My dad actually bought it brand new in May, 1957. Beautiful timepiece.

The certina blue ribbon you'll see in the neighborhood of $200 for, the Omega as said I would not sell. With the historical connection to your father owning it I don't think you're going to get enough for it to justify selling it. The manual wind omega's from that period Typically fetch $500 to $800. your example looks to be in very good condition so you might see more than that to the right buyer.

I agree, keep the Omega. Having family ties, you may grow to regret selling one day. It is in lovely condition.
